Antique fireplaces are unique and all vary in size and design. If you see one that you want , but are not ready to install, no problem, we will store it for you FOC until you need it.
Britain's Heritage are acknowledged specialists in fully restored antique fireplaces and quality reproductions.
Formed in 1980 with a small team of expert restorers dedicated to offering one of the largest selections of fully restored Antique Fireplaces in Leicester in the East Midlands and one of the largest in the country.
Britain's Heritage stock of original antique fireplaces includes elegant carved Georgian Fireplaces and Hob Grates, Exquisite French Marble, Elaborate Victorian and Edwardian Fireplaces as well as distinctive Art Nouveau and 1930's Art Deco. All fully restored to their original splendor for discerning people.
All of our period antique fireplaces can be fitted to antique or reproduction interiors. All are suitable for use with solid fuel or living flame gas fires.
Our stock of quality reproduction fireplaces is extensive and covers all styles from the 1800's to the present contemporary 'Hole in the wall' fireplaces. All are authentic copies, many exclusive to Britain's Heritage, and made by craftsmen using traditional manufacturing methods.
All fireplaces must be fitted by HETAS (solid fuel) or GAS SAFE (gas) registered personnel to meet the current regulations. We at Britains Heritage work closely with a number off well established experienced and fully qualified registered fireplace fitters who can offer a full fitting service to most parts of England.
Conveniently based in Leicester in the East Midlands in the centre of the country, we are just 3 miles off junction 21 of the M1 motorway.

We are situated in the ancient and historical area of the city, just a 5min walk to the grave of King Richard 111. We are adjacent to the Roman Jewry Wall Museum. The beautiful Castle Gardens, the magnificent Leicester Cathedral and historic Mary De Castro church together with one of the best preserved timber framed Guildhalls are all within a 5 minute walk. Alternatively the High Cross shopping centre, East Midlands largest, consisting of 120 shops, 15 restaurants and cafes, are also just a 5 minute walk away.
